Teach it your strategy once. See every setup drawn on the chart.
Describe the rules you trade by. SetupSight writes them down as exact rules, then scans your markets, draws each setup with its entry, stop and target, alerts you when one forms, backtests the rules on past candles and keeps your journal.
Plans from $12 a month after the trial. Not financial advice.
It finds the shape your rules describe: a bounce off support, a double bottom, a break above a level. It checks every closed candle and outlines what it finds.
It draws the trade: entry, stop and target, each at the price your rules give, with the rule that put it there. Here 2.0 to 1 means the target is twice as far from the entry as the stop is.
How it works
From your words to a watched chart, in four steps.
The same steps are the menu of the app, in the same order, so you always know what comes next.
Step 1: Teach
Describe your strategy in a conversation. SetupSight asks about anything it is unsure of and writes the rules down.
Before anything is saved, the rules run on two real charts. You mark the setups they found right or wrong, so the rules match what you meant.
In the app: Strategies
Step 2: Test
See the rules drawn on a live chart, then backtest them on past candles to see how they did, costs included.
A backtest runs your rules over old candles and counts the trades they would have taken.
In the app: Chart and Backtest
Step 3: Watch
Pick your markets and timeframes, from 5 minutes to a week. The scanner watches them and alerts you when a setup forms.
In the app: Alerts
Step 4: Keep score
Log the trades you take in the journal, each kept with its chart, and see every day's result on a calendar.

Inside SetupSight
One set of rules, used the same way everywhere.
Your strategy is checked by one engine. The chart, the scanner, the backtester and the journal all run those same rules on the same candles, so they always agree.
Your rules, written down.
Teach it in a conversation, or start from an example pattern. SetupSight shows your rules back as a checklist in plain words, step by step. Nothing is saved until you confirm it, and every change is kept as a new version.
A rule is one thing it checks on a candle: for example, the close is above the 20-candle average.

Every setup on a live chart, and tested on the past.
Pick a market and a strategy. The newest setup is drawn with its entry, stop, target and levels, the candles that met each step are numbered, and the rules sit beside the chart. The record on those same candles is shown too, so a tidy drawing never hides a poor one. The Backtest page runs the same rules over years of past candles, after spread and slippage, so you see how it would have done before you trust it with money.
A setup is a moment on the chart where all of your rules were met.

Told the moment a setup forms.
The scanner checks your markets each time a candle closes, around the clock. A setup that is still forming says which step it is waiting for; a complete one opens on its chart. You hear about it in the site, in your browser or by email.
A candle closes at the end of its time: every hour on the 1-hour chart, every day on the daily chart.

Every trade, kept with its chart.
Log a trade and the chart is kept as it was. The calendar shows each day's result, with the month's numbers on top: result, trades, win rate, up and down days.
The month in the picture is an example, not a promise. Win rate is the share of trades that made money.

Example patterns
Twelve example patterns, ready on day one.
Six textbook patterns, each with its buying and its selling side, written as exact rules and drawn the way SetupSight draws them: the level, the entry, the stop and the target. Try one on the Chart page, copy it to make it yours, or teach your own.
They show how SetupSight reads a chart. They are not tested for profit and are not trading advice.
Swipe sideways to see all twelve.
Support bounceBuyPrice comes back down to a support line that held before, then closes above the candle that touched it. Target: the last high.
Who it is for
Built for traders who have rules, or are learning some.
Exact
It runs rules, not a memory of a chat. Your strategy is saved as structured rules, and the chart, the scanner and the backtester all run those same rules on the same candles, so they always agree. If an idea cannot be written as a rule, SetupSight says so instead of guessing.
Private
Your strategy is private to your account, and the database enforces it. No other user can ever see it, and it is never used to teach anything for other users. From Settings you can download everything in your account as one file, or delete it all.
Not a broker, not advice
It never places, changes or closes a trade: you decide, in your own trading account. It applies your rules and promises no result. Every alert comes from your own strategy, with the conditions that were met, never from someone else's trades.
The markets the scanner watches
Pick the markets and timeframes you follow. Every candle is checked, and the chart says when price data was missing, so you always know what a drawing stands on.

Teaching it your strategyHow does teaching work?
It is a conversation. You write in your own words; the AI asks about anything it is unsure of, then proposes the rules and shows them to you as a plain-word checklist. Everything is saved as you go, so you can stop and pick up where you left off from the Teach page; the rules only become your strategy, and markets are only scanned for it, once you save it in the last step. You can also mark example setups on the chart: every set of rules the AI proposes is tested on them, and you see which ones the rules find. Then ask for a check-up: the AI runs the rules on a market and shows you the newest setups it found, so you can confirm they are the ones you meant.
The chartWhat is drawn on the chart?
Pick a market and one of your strategies. Entry, target and stop loss are drawn as price lines, support and resistance levels are marked, and numbered dots show the candles that met each rule. Why this was drawn lists the rules behind every line, so you can see exactly how the result was reached.
AlertsHow do alerts work?
On the Alerts page you watch a market on a timeframe with one of your strategies. The scanner runs around the clock and checks each watch when a candle closes. When your rules are met it saves an alert with the candle it fired on and the rules that were met, and you can open it on the chart as it was.
BacktestsWhat does a backtest show?
It runs your rules over past candles with the same engine the chart and the scanner use, and reports the trades it would have found: wins and losses, win rate, the total and average result in R, trades still open or unclear, and each trade on its own. Spread and slippage are included, and a trade is only judged on candles that came before it: the backtest never looks ahead.
The journal and AI Chart AuditWhat goes in the journal?
The trades you take. You can start an entry from an alert, so the strategy version, market, candle and chart come with it, or add one by hand. Each entry keeps your notes, the outcome and the chart as it was, and the journal adds the results up for you.
